So what is special about the Eastern Suburbs of this authentic city? The eastern part of this city promises the beauty of the world famous beaches like Bondi, Coogee and others, the authentic sea-foods, wine, shopping and a unique culture of its own.
The Eastern Suburbs of Sydney is crammed between the Metropolitan city and the coast. You can spend a whole day wandering in the Bondi Beach, or trying seafood of Watsons Bay or watching movies in Ritz Theatre at Randwick.

Bondi Beach and Bondi Junction
The day starts with a marvelous sunrise with the first rays of sun playing in the white sand of Bondi Beach of Sydney. The turquoise blue water and the white sand welcome its visitors for swimming, water sports or just sunbathing.
The option of surfing is also there on the beach, there are plenty of surfing schools where you can learn the surfing from the experts. There are plenty of restaurants in where you can enjoy from the Australian cuisines to Italian food, as well as the glittering nightlife besides the beach. In Saturday, in the famous Bondi Farmers Market, the authentic food is sold by their original makers.
The Bondi Junction is the part of Eastern Suburb which is mainly an industrial area.
Around 6 km trail from the famous Bondi beach is to take you to another famous Coogee beach of Sydney. It is mainly a seaside destination for families with a patrolled beach, swimming bath and areas for barbecue and playground. Along with the delightful restaurants and bars, the rooftop cafes like Coogee Pavilion Rooftop provide an excellent view of the Sydney Coastline.
The Maroubra Beach is known for the opportunities of surfing. Located at the southern end of the Eastern Suburbs, this beach is famous for its consistent waves. The location of this beach is very tempting, with Malabar Headland National Park in south and Jack Vanney Memorial Park in the north. Overall, this beach offers a slightly different experience from the other beaches of the Eastern Suburbs.
The Randwick is a locality in the Sydney’s East, which boasts a vibrant village feel. Located near the famous Coogee beach, this vibrant place boasts classy restaurants to student friendly bars. The Royal Randwick Racecourse, country’s longest racecourse is located here, along with the two very famous race courses located on Eastlake Golf Course and the Bonnie Doon Golf Course. The Royal Randwick racecourse is famous for hosting the national events like the Moet and Chandon Spring Champion Stakes Day and Schweppes Stakes Day. The Randwick Ritz cinema is a very famous movie theater which is actually restored art-deco architecture. This movie theater is great for catching up the latest blockbuster movie. For the picnic, walking or cycling, the neighborhood Centennial Parklands area is perfect.
Once the oldest fishing village of Sydney, Watsons Bay is nowadays a popular coastal area for fine wining and dining experience. This area is most popular for its seafood. A gentle stroll in through the coastline or sipping a cocktail overlooking the Sydney Harbor, or visiting the St Peter’s Church built during the 19th Century is the unique experiences that only Watsons Bay can provide.

With the small restaurants and bars on the beach to luxury dining with the view of the coast- the Eastern suburb of Sydney has it all. In the Bondi beach, check out the view from the Icebergs Dining Room and Bar. At the Watson bay, try cocktails with the various seafood in the Doyles on the Beach, Beach Club and the Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel with the view of the Sydney harbor.
The coolest place to shop in the Eastern suburb of Sydney is definitely Paddington. The designer boutiques with the Victorian era architecture will enhance your whole experience of shopping. For the patrons of the latest fashion, a visit to the intersection of the Paddington is a must.
